THREE STAGE FILTER (SINTER / FINE/ CARBON) WITHOUT GAUGE
Three Stage Filter Without Gauge
Stages: Sinter, Fine & Carbon
A three-stage filter system, composed of sinter, fine, and carbon filters, is designed to effectively remove impurities from air or liquid. While gauges are often used to monitor filter performance, this system can function without them.
1. Sinter Filter
- Purpose: Removes larger particles and debris.
- Material: Typically made of sintered metal or ceramic.
- Function: The porous structure of the sinter material traps larger particles, preventing them from passing through to the subsequent filters.
2. Fine Filter
- Purpose: Removes smaller particles and contaminants.
- Material: Often made of a woven or nonwoven material, such as fiberglass or polyester.
- Function: The fine mesh of the material captures smaller particles that were not removed by the sinter filter.
3. Carbon Filter
- Purpose: Absorbs gases, odors, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
- Material: Activated carbon, a highly porous material with a large surface area.
- Function: The carbon particles adsorb various contaminants, effectively purifying the air or liquid.
Application:
- Solvent-based paints
- Breathing protection equipment
- Automotive
- Waterborne, paint spray guns
- DIY
- Removes oil and water (Sintered filter)
- Removes micro dirt (Fine filter)
- Removes oil steam and smells (Activated charcoal filter)
