Extra Information Best used in timber; if drilling hardwood or heavily knotted wood, start with a small pilot hole to ease the load. Insert a strong rod or screwdriver through the Scotch eye loop for extra manual leverage when needed. Regularly clear chips and debris to keep the bit cutting efficiently and prevent binding.
