An auto-retract air hose reel is a device designed to store and dispense compressed air hoses efficiently and safely. It consists of a spring-loaded reel mounted on a base, a length of air hose attached to the reel, and a hose guide or swivel to control the hose's movement.

Features

Known issues, causes and solutions

Trouble	Possible Cause	Suggested Action/Remedy
Hose reel unable to auto feed air hose	Air hose is tangled or stuck.	Un wind the hose reel and ensure the auto guide function is working.
Unable to extend air hose	Air hose stuck in reel. Air hose reached its maximum length.	Untangle air hose inside hose reel. Do not over extend the air hose as it may damage internal components.
No Air	Closed air supply. Unconnected air fitting. Air hose is tangled.	Ensure the air connection is open. Ensure all air fitting are properly connected with any air leaks. Untangle the hose.
Air leak	Faulty/broken air fitting. Air fitting not sealed properly. Broken hose or broken crimped hose clamp. Air hose overextended and outlet crimped air fitting damaged.	Replace the air fitting. Retighten the fitting. Clean the threads and apply new PTFE tape (PTFE12). Do not use a faulty hose reel, send to your nearest authorized repairs center to be fixed.
Faulty or damaged hose reel	Broken internal components. Damaged air hose.	Do not use a faulty hose reel, send to your nearest authorized repairs center to be fixed.
